Love Poet: Canopy Of God

Enter me Lord, into your hallowed garden

Enter me Lord, into your hallowed garden
I am but the daughter of a chartreuse rose
Eternally tied to your pillars with promises
Casting your oceanic sea shells upon my dreams

Love Poet: Canopy Of God

Enter me Lord, into your hallowed garden
I am but the daughter of a chartreuse rose
Eternally tied to your pillars with promises
Casting your oceanic sea shells upon my dreams

As the ivory snow dove peers with devote abandon
Summer wakes the rustling wrens to sing your hymns
while my soul listens kneeling in your empyrean gateway
the songbirds awaken the beauty of your glorious songs

Opening my heart with newfound devotional faith
I walk with this daily offering, sacred and revered
An eclipse within an eclipse of my beseeching soul
A love poet seeking the canopy of God’s master plan
