YISRAEL: The Daughter Of Zion Weeps

The Daughter Of Zion Weeps

YISRAEL:
The Daughter Of Zion Weeps

My eyes weep in separation by the River Jordan,
into these descrying moments awakening my dawning…

I feel as a willow within the quietuses of stillness;
Sheltering the beatific glories of bird songs,
so that my soul shall be released and redeemed;
Surrounded by the eminences that have built Jerusalem…

Where your footsteps once caressed the banks of the dead sea;
I find myself beckoning to see the citadel and the palace one more.
This denoting city of David beyond the deep chartreuse valleys…

Or is it the heavenly city chosen by our holy father God;
That from the salt of salts wounds I shall return with knowing,
bleeding as the death of my soul flows into the tributary rifts?

I am an abandoned seed into the heavenly blossoms of kingdom’s sacred vine,
these baptismal sands and seaside flowing through all the lands of Yisrael
offers me to awaken within the knowing that I am but a speck of dust
beneath the rock and clay of all mankind…and my eyes they weep…
